Dr. Joseph Hellmann
Ira Richterman MD, after graduating Summa Cum Laude from Rutgers University, received his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in NY, NY and served his orthopedic surgery residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. Additionally, he completed a fellowship in hand, upper extremity, and microvascular surgery from Brown University at Rhode Island Hospital. While at Brown University, Dr. Richterman also was a clinical instructor for the Brown University School of Medicine. He is particularly interested in tendon and nerve procedures as well as complex hand and wrist reconstruction. As advancements in Orthopaedics are developed, Dr. Richterman masters these techniques through Academy sponsored courses and Continuing Medical Education classes and vendor symposiums. In addition, Dr. Richterman is currently our CEO and the Medical Director of Othopedics for Aultman Hospital where he is actively engaged in developing the Orthopedic Trauma program, Center of excellence of Orthopedic Surgery, Total Joint Accreditation for Center of Excellence, and a regional refferal program for orthopedic surgery. Dr. Richterman is Board Certified through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and he completed and passed his 10 year recertification examination. His experience and extensive training allow him to provide outstanding and compassionate care to his patients.
Dr. Pentz’s primary interest is now reconstructive adult surgery of both the hip and knee. Dr. Pentz, along with Dr. Papacostas, serve as team physicians for Central Catholic High School. Dr. Pentz has placed his focus in the advancement of joint reconstruction, namely joint replacement surgery in both the hip and the knee. He is committed to staying abreast of the most recent reconstructive techniques and information. On a personal side, Dr. Pentz is married and is the proud father of three grown boys. He is also a member of St. Michael’s Parrish. Dr. Pentz is an active pilot and enjoys outdoor activities, especially bicycling. 30 year resident of Stark County. Received his medical degree in a combined program at Youngstown State University and the Northeastern Ohio University College of Medicine. He served his internship and residency at Akron City Medical Center now known as SUMMA Health System He is a founding member of OMNI Orthopaedics and is the former CEO.

Kelsey O’Connor, D.O. is a board-eligible physician specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation and pain management. Dr. O’Connor earned her medical degree at Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine and her undergraduate degree with distinction from The Ohio State University. She completed her residency at Loyola University in Chicago with a strong focus on interventional spine procedures and an active approach to pain management/musculoskeletal disorders. Dr. O’Connor is proficient in nonsurgical interventional pain procedures and is dedicated to restoring health, improving function, minimizing pain and restoring quality of life to her patients. Dr. O’Connor and her husband live in North Canton and are proud parents of one son. Outside of managing non-surgical interventional pain, she enjoys tennis, golf, playing guitar and cheering on her Ohio State Buckeyes!
Daniel A. Charlick, MD grew up in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. He attended Columbia University in New York City, where we was a member of the two-time NCAA Championship Fencing Team and was an All-American. After graduating Cum Laude from Columbia with a degree in Anthropology and Premed, he went on to Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington DC where he then earned his medical degree. From there, Dr. Charlick moved on to the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky for completion of his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery. It was at this point that he joined the Air Force for a four-year tour and was assigned as Chief of Surgical Services at Barksdale Air Force Base in Shreveport, Louisiana. Following his military service, Dr. Charlick chose to advance his education by completing a fellowship in Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgery at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas Texas. Dr. Charlick is particularly interested in Foot and Ankle surgery as well as Knee surgery. He has specialized training and unique expertise in the treatment of all foot and ankle deformities, arthritic conditions requiring Total Ankle Replacement, diabetic foot conditions, and sports related foot and ankle injuries. He often gives educational lectures in the local area on these topics. Additionally, as advancements in Orthopaedics are developed, Dr. Charlick masters these techniques through Academy sponsored courses and Continuing Medical Education classes and vendor symposiums. His experience and extensive training allow him to provide outstanding and compassionate care to his patients.
Dr. Ryan Gasser
Brett Daly, MD, is a fellowship trained Orthopaedic surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine. This entails a focus on arthroscopic surgery of the knee, shoulder and hip as well as open procedures with the goal of helping young athletes pursue their dreams and active adults continue to do the things they enjoy. Dr. Daly earned his bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University while earning Academic All Big Ten honors as defensive end on the Varsity football team. He then continued his education by earning his medical degree from The Ohio State University School of Medicine. His medical training was completed with an Orthopaedic Residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY and a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC. During this time he provided care for collegiate athletes at Syracuse University, Wake Forest University, SUNY Cortland and Winston-Salem State University. He received extensive orthopedic trauma and total joint arthroplasty training throughout residency and honed his skills in arthroscopy and minimally invasive technique through fellowship allowing him to provide outstanding care for patients. He is a native of Elyria, Ohio and now resides in his wife's hometown of Canton, OH with their two children. In his free time Dr. Daly enjoys spending time with his family, fishing and woodworking.
Matthew Stonestreet, MD, is a Board Certified Fellowship-Trained Orthopaedic Surgeon, with a focus on surgical management of knee and hip arthritis treatment. Dr. Stonestreet completed his residency at Akron General Medical Center, after receiving his medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University and B.S. in Chemistry from Youngstown State University. He completed fellowship training at The CORE Institute in Phoenix, Arizona. There, he engaged in specialized training in the areas of complex and primary revision, total hip and knee replacement, and minimally invasive surgical techniques. As advancements in Orthopaedics are developed, Dr. Stonestreet masters these techniques through Academy sponsored courses and Continuing Medical Education classes.
Dr. Stonestreet and his wife are the proud parents of one daughter. Recently relocated from the Youngstown area, they are looking forward to exploring Stark County. In addition, he enjoys reading historical fiction novels, travelling with his family, and staying active.
Dr. Mark Cecil
Melissa Bickett, MD, is a Board-eligible, Fellowship-Trained Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in: Minimally Invasive Arthroscopic Surgery Sports Medicine Trauma. Dr. Bickett earned her Medical Degree Magna Cum Laude from The Ohio State University School of Medicine and her undergraduate degree with distinction from The University of Michigan. She completed her residency in orthopaedic surgery at The University of Kentucky and a fellowship in sports medicine and arthroscopy at University of Texas/Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Among her many athletic achievements as a student athlete, Dr. Bickett competed in the 2004 and 2008 Olympic trials in discus. She also served as the assistant team physician for four Houston professional sports teams while completing her fellowship there.
Dr. Matthew Stonestreet
Ronald Cohen, DPM earned his medical degree at The Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine and served his residency in Podiatric Surgery and Medicine at Colmery-O'Neil Veterans Administration Medical Center in Topeka, KS. Additionally, he serves as the Medical Director for Mercy Medical Center's Wound Center and has been certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. Dr. Cohen is particularly interested in wound care of the feet as well as diabetic related foot problems. He has extensive training and experience in dealing with foot disorders and as advancements in Podiatry are developed, he masters these techniques through Academy sponsored courses and Continuing Medical Education classes. Dr. Cohen's experience and extensive training allow him to provide outstanding and compassionate care to his patients.

Joseph Hellmann, MD earned his medical degree from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine and completed his residency at the Medical College of Ohio. His advanced studies include a sports medicine, reconstructive shoulder and knee fellowship at Toledo Orthopedic Surgeons, Inc. Dr. Hellmann is Board Certified through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is particularly interested in arthroscopic procedures of the shoulder and knee. Ryan Ficco, M.D. is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon with a focus on treatment of traumatic and degenerative conditions of the extremities, hips, and pelvis. After completing undergraduate studies at John Carroll University, Dr. Ficco obtained his MD from The Ohio State University College of Medicine with honors. His orthopaedic training includes residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL and an orthopaedic trauma fellowship at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN. He has extensive experience treating complex traumatic orthopaedic conditions with fracture repair and reconstruction. He is focused on the utilization of minimally invasive techniques and optimizing the use of technology for patients seeking total joint replacement. Dr. Ficco, his wife Cheryl, and their sons Max and Luke live in Canton. Outside of orthopaedic surgery, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking and trail running.
Ryan M. Gasser, M.D. completed his orthopedic residency at Akron General Medical Center and then traveled to Colorado for a fellowship with Panorama Ortho & Spine to focus on the advanced surgical management of complex spine disorders and minimally invasive intervention. After fellowship, he worked with Akron General Orthopedics and the Cleveland Clinic as an attending spine surgeon and Level I spine trauma surgeon for four years. Additionally, he mentored and taught resident orthopedic surgeons and was an assistant clinical professor at Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. Dr. Gasser has been the co-investigator in research related to disc sealant use after lumbar microdiscectomy and has several related patents. His practice focuses on the surgical management of spine disorders of all regions of the spine from the neck to low back. Dr. Gasser is married, and he and his wife are the proud parents of 3 children. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, staying active and working outside.

Meghan Nein, MD is a board certified Anesthesiologist and fellowship trained Chronic Pain Management physician. Her primary focus is interventional pain management. Dr. Nein earned her bachelors degree from Miami University of Ohio. Following this, she earned a Masters degree of Science and continued her education by earning her Medical Degree at Chicago Medical School. There, she earned a scholarship as well as an award for her high achievement. Her medical training was continued with an internship in General Surgery and residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. This was followed by a fellowship in Chronic Pain Management at the Cleveland Clinic. While at the Cleveland Clinic, Dr. Nein was mentored by world renowned physicians within the field and was able to learn cutting edge techniques, including the newest techniques in neuromodulation and interventional management. Dr. Nein's goal is to help patients achieve functional restoration and an improved quality of life through an effective multidisciplinary approach to pain management. She is a native of Canton, Ohio and is happy to have returned to her hometown.
Brian Blake, MD, is a Board-Certified, Fellowship-Trained Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in sports medicine and shoulder and knee surgery with a focus on minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery. Dr. Blake earned his Medical Degree with honors from The Ohio State University School of Medicine and his undergraduate degree from Miami University. He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at University of Toledo Medical Center and a fellowship in shoulder and sports medicine with Eugene Wolf, MD, in San Francisco. Dr. Anthony Pentz
George P. Papacostas, MD is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon and a lifetime resident of Stark County. He earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University Hospital in Cincinnati. Additionally, Dr. Papacostas completed a fellowship in orthopaedic foot and ankle surgery from Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati. His expertise includes trauma, arthroscopic surgery, total joint replacement, foot and ankle surgery and general orthopaedics. Dr. Papacostas was awarded the Freiberg First Prize Award in 2000, 2001, and 2002 and was also honored with the Gate Pharmaceutical Award and the Louis W. Rauh Award. Additionally, he earned a fellowship in hand, upper extremity, and microvascular surgery at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Klimo is particularly interested in degenerative hand, elbow and shoulder conditions, reconstruction of the hand, elbow and shoulder as well as microvascular surgery and traumatic injuries. Dr. Ryan Ficco
Mark Cecil, MD has been with OMNI Orthopaedics since August 1996. He earned his medical degree at Wright State University School of Medicine and served his Orthopaedic residency at The Medical College of Ohio. Dr. Cecil completed the Kenton D. Leatherman Spine Fellowship at the University of Louisville and Kosair's Children's Hospital in 1996. Additionally, he has published many papers on different aspects of his specialty and frequently gives many educational presentations. Dr. Vincent T. Wake earned his medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine (NEOUCOM) and completed his residency at Akron General Medical Center and Akron Children's Hospital. Dr. Wake went on to earn a fellowship at Rocky Mountain Spine Clinic in Colorado. Prior to completing his medical degree, Dr. Wake earned a B.A. in athletic training from Wilmington College. For five years, he worked for Belden Village Orthopaedics with Drs. Michael, Pentz and Lohr as an athletic trainer treating students from Hoover, Lake and Jackson High Schools. Dr. Wake treats a wide range of spinal conditions including degenerative problems, spinal deformity, and trauma.
