As in the hospital, charges for facility services are billed separately from your doctor's fees. After your procedure, you will receive separate bills from your surgeon, anesthesiologist, and OASIS. If applicable you may be billed by a laboratory, pathologist or a third party vendor selected by your insurance.
For those with no insurance, we accept cash, checks, MasterCard, VISA, Discover, American Express and Care Credit. Payment is expected to be made on the day of surgery, unless other arrangements have been made. We also accept most insurance plans, including Medicare. Also, if needed, we'll work with you to create a payment plan.
To ensure an efficient registration process, please be familiar with your insurance coverage before you arrive for surgery. Satisfying the conditions of an insurance policy is the responsibility of the patient, so when inquiring about coverage, ask your insurance company if it covers "freestanding ambulatory" facilities. Also, be sure to ask if any specific documents, such as a second surgical opinion, a letter of certification or a referral, are required.
